Tingle in the Shingle
Tingle on the Shingle
Oil on canvas, 40 x 60cm
This painting is a much larger version of an earlier oil study based on a group of swimmers called the St Leonards Bluetits – when the sea is too rough for swimming they often meet like this at the water’s edge – they call it a tingle in the shingle! (Most of my local beaches are shingle beaches)
I’m delighted that this painting now resides with one of the swimmers in the painting , but prints are available – please go the prints and card section.
